Natural homemade deodorant: 6 quick and effective recipes!

Making a natural deodorant is simple, fast but above all beneficial for the body!

The sprays or sticks on the market very often contain high percentages of  parabens and aluminum salts . These substances have an anti-perspirant action , i.e. they clog the sweat glands.

In addition, if sprayed too closely, they can cause burns and infections or even more serious damage.

For these reasons, the correct choice is to have a deodorant made up of only natural products , even better if made with DIY!

With these 6 recipes , you will take care of yourself right up to the minute since the ingredients used are antioxidants , purifying and moisturizing !

1. Natural deodorant: salt, lemon and orange.

For this deodorant, where to have :

  • sea ​​salt , 1 cup
  • water , 1 liter
  • baking soda , 3 tbsp
  • lemon , 3
  • orange , 3

Wash and grate the rinds of the 3 lemons and the 3 oranges.
Put the water in a saucepan, add all the rinds and bring to the boil. Boil for 5 minutes and then filter the liquid with a colander to remove all the skins and let it cool.

Also add the baking soda and sea salt. Mix well and transfer the mixture into an empty and clean spray.

2. Natural deodorant lemon, witch hazel and rosemary.

For this recipe, get yourself :

  • witch hazel extract , 10 drops
  • lemon essential oil , 3
  • alcohol 90 ° , 20 ml
  • rosemary , 4 tbsp
  • water , 100 ml

Add the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the rosemary leaves , preferably dried. Cook for 3 minutes and at the end, leave on for 10 minutes with the lid on.
Add the lemon essential oil , the witch hazel extract , the alcohol and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a glass jar .

3. Coconut oil and essential oils.

Keep on hand :

  • coconut oil , 3 tbsp
  • lavender essential oil , 10 drops
  • corn starch , 70 g
  • baking soda , 70 g
  • mint essential oil , 10 drops

In a bowl, add all the ingredients together and mix well. Make sure not to form lumps and obtain a homogeneous cream.
When finished, transfer it to a container.

4. Coconut oil and shea butter.

For this recipe, get yourself :

  • corn starch , 2 cups
  • shea butter , 2 cups
  • baking soda , 3 cups
  • coconut oil , 3 cups

In a saucepan, add the shea butter and coconut oil . Melt them on low heat and in the meantime, mix with a wooden spoon.
When the ingredients are well mixed together, turn off the heat and add the corn starch and baking soda.
You can also insert 4 drops of your favorite essential oil!
Let it cool down and transfer it to a suitable container .

5. Natural Tea Tree Oil Deodorant.

This recipe is perfect for those with sensitive skin!

For this preparation, you must have:

  • coconut oil , 3 tbsp
  • corn starch , 3 tbsp
  • tea tree oil , 10 drops
  • baking soda , 2 tbsp

In a bowl, add the cornstarch , baking soda and drops of tea tree oil . Mix well and add also the coconut oil . You have to get a homogeneous and thick cream.
Then transfer it to a special container or jar and keep it in the fridge.

6. Castor oil, thyme oil, cocoa butter and beeswax.

For this recipe, get yourself :

  • cocoa butter , 1/2 tbsp
  • essential oil of:
    • white thyme , 15 drops
    • castor , 3 drops
    • coconut , 1 tbsp
    • lavender , 25 drops
    • rosemary essential oil , 15 drops
  • beeswax , 1/2 tbsp

Add the cocoa butter and beeswax in a saucepan Melt them in a water bath and mix. Add all the oils one at a time and continue stirring. When finished, leave to cool and transfer the mixture to a container.
